Fudge Brownies – Bushka’s Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans/walnuts
Method
325 8x8 pan 30-35 minutes
Melt chocolate. Mix together the margarine and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla and melted chocolate and flour. Mix in the nuts. Put in Pan and bake.
Notes
Make sure that you don't overbake these. They should be moist and fudgy in the middle. After 20 minutes use a toothpick and check them.
Bushka used to put a chocolate glaze on top. I think she just heated up a little cream or milk and added in chocolate and mixed them together well and poured it on top.
