Molten Spiced Chocolate Cabernet Cakes

Ingredients

4 oz semi-sweet chocolate 1/2 cup butter 1 tbsp cabernet sauvignon or other wine 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup icing sugar 2 eggs 1 egg yolk 6 tbsps flour 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground ginger

Method

Butter 4 custard cups (6 oz each). Place on baking sheet. Microwave choc and butter in large bowl on high 1 min or until butter melted. Whisk until choc is completely melted. Stir in wine, vanilla and sugar until blended. Whisk in eggs and yolk. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon evenly into prepared dishes. Bake in preheated 425 oven for 15 min or until sides are firm but centers are soft. Let stand 1 min. Loosen edges with knife. Invert onto serving plates. Sprinkles with icing sugar, if desired.

Notes

I hear these are great......never had one or made one......but will try this recipe soon (10/01/06) I think some fruit on the side and perhaps a little whipped cream would also ve bery nice because these will be very chocolatey.
