Chili Sauce

Ingredients

6 quarts tomatoes 2 green pepper 1 red pepper 5 pears 5 apples 5 peeled peaches 1 pt vinegar (2 cups) 1/2 cup pickling spices 3 cups white sugar 1 tbsp salt 1 stalk celery 5 medium onions

Method

Scald and peel tomatoes. Chop all the fruit and vegetables finely. Boil on the stove for 1.5 to 2 hours with the spices in a cheese cloth bag. Can as you normally would putting parafin wax on the top.

This is Bushka's recipe. It is very similar to the Red Chow that we get at the grocery store.....but of course with alot more work......
