Bushkas Cabbage Rolls
Ingredients
1 lb bacon diced
2 medium onions diced
1 cup chopped celery
1-1/2 lbs ground pork
1-3/4 cup white rice
1 can tomato soup
cabbage
Method
275 for 3 hours
Fry together the bacon and onion. Add the chopped celery.
Fry the pork until done. Add to bacon and onions.
Cook the rice and rinse. Add to the meat mixture.
Steam the cabbage to separate the leaves.
Mix together tomato juice and one can tomato soup. Pour on cabbage rolls and bake
Notes
This is Bushkas recipe. We always loved her cabbage rolls. The only thing that I would do different, that bushka never did, is serve them with sour cream on the side.
