Deep Fried Perogies
Ingredients
perogies seasoned bread crumbs egg oil
Method
Boil the perogies until they are just cooked and place on parchement/wax paper to dry. Slightly beat the egg and dip each perogy into egg wash and then into the crumbs and then onto a cookie sheet. You can put them in the fridge now to let the crumbs set. When ready to eat heat the oil, not too hot, and put a few perogies at a time into the oil and fry. Make sure you don't over cook or that the oil is too hot or the perogies will just pop open (not good) For a sauce I mixed sour cream and sweet chili sauce and it was very nice but you can make any sauce that you like.

Made these for an appetizer to use up homemade perogies I had. They were really very good. You can deep fry them without the crumbs but I tried it both ways and with crumbs is sooo much better
