Appetizer Tortilla Pinwheels

Ingredients

1 cup (8 oz) sour cream

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened

1 can (4.5 oz) chopped ripe olives

1 can (4 oz) finely chopped green chilies, well drained

1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped green onions

garlic powder to taste

seasoned salt to taste

5 flour tortillas (10 inches) room temperature

fresh parsley for garnish

salsa (to serve on the side)

Method

1. In a large bowl beat the first 8 ingredients until well blended.

2. Spread over the tortillas, roll up tightly.

3. Wrap each with plastic wrap, twisting ends, refrigerate for several hours.

4. Unwrap, cut in 1/2 inch slices. Discard the ends. Garnish with parsley.

5. Serve with salsa

Notes

These are really quite tasty. After I mixed the ingredients together I put it in the fridge for a little while to firm up a little. You could make these without the olives but they do add a nice flavor
