Butter Tart Filling
Ingredients
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 tbsp butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Method
Put the raisin in a bowl and cover with bowling water. Drain. While the raisins are still warm add all the other ingredients and mix well. Put spoonful in each tart shell.
Notes
This recipe does not make the sticky run down your arm type of butter tarts. This is grammas recipe. I personally have never been very successful in making butter tarts......but I will keep trying.
