Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs top round steak
1 clove garlic minced
1 onion finely chopped
1 bouillon cube dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
6 drops tabasco
1 10oz pckg sour cream
1 10oz can mushroom pieces
Method
Cut steak into strips and coat with flour. Brown steak pieces in some oil. Fry up onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add broth, ketchup, worcestershire sauce and tabasco. Let simmer for a while, then add sour cream. Serve on egg noodles.
Notes
I usually add a couple more sachets of bouillon than called for, and use fresh mushrooms.
