Bunx with Potato Water
Ingredients
2 pkgs yeast 1 cup lukewarm potato water 2 tsp sugar 1 cup scalded milk 1/2 cup crisco 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs, beaten 6 cups flour
Method
Mix together the yeast, potato water and sugar...dissolve. Set aside Add crisco, salt, sugar to scalded milk and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast mix. Add half flour and eggs. Add remaining flour. Let rise double in bulk about 1.5 hours. Divide into 3 parts. Let rest 10 mins. and shape buns. Let rise. After baked brush with butter.
