Lasagna

Ingredients

9 or 10 lasagna noodles 1 tbsp oil 1/2 cup chopped onion 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. ground chuck 1 tsp garlic salt 1 (10 oz) can tomato soup 2 small cans tomato paste 1/2 to 3/4 cup coffee 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms 1/4 tsp oregano 16 oz creamed cottage cheese 12-16 oz mozzarella cheese - grated 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Method

Cook noodles. Heat oil and add onion and ground beef. Cook until meat is browned. Drain fat. Add next 8 ingredients. Simmer 10 minutes. Oil dish and spread bottom of pan with 1/3 of the sauce, noodles, 1/2 motz, 1/2 parmesan, 1/2 cottage cheese. Repeat layers ending with noodles. Cover and bake at 350 for 20 and then uncover and bake until bubbling.

Notes

This is grammas recipe. I think the secret ingredient is the coffee so don't forget it!
